    Convenient, Comfortable Counseling.

    Most of us live a busy and overworked lifestyle. We are trying to do it all. Maybe out of necessity or maybe to escape (the latter we should probably process in session.).

    We live in our cars more than in our homes because everyday there is somewhere to be and something to do. Being too busy is an obstacle to taking care of our mental and physical health.

    Virtual counseling is a convenient way to take a healthy action towards your mental health.

    We provide counseling to our clients via live video conferencing that is HIPAA compliant. Counseling can be done anywhere you have a computer or smartphone. Just a few clicks and you can connect to a licensed professional counselor ready to help you get relief from depression, anxiety, or any other mental health issue.

    But does it work?

    Research shows that virtual therapy can be just as effective as in-person therapy for various mental health conditions.

    My clients range from the age of 12-70 and they enjoy the safety and security of being in their room in their comfortable clothing during the session.

    With virtual therapy I am able to provide therpay at times outside of the traditional 9-5pm schedule. I offer sessions in the evenings, during lunch, and on weekends so my clients do not have to request time of work.

    I have seen higher attendance rates and more engagement from my clients with virtual counseling than when I saw clients in person.

    Virtual Counseling is not suitable for:

    • individuals with cognitive issues
    • individuals with hearing problems
    • individuals with attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder.
    • individuals who are not comfortable with technology
    • individuals who are in crisis
    • small children who would benefit from play therapy

    If you are someone who is not convinced that virtual counseling works, I recommend you try it. Afterall, counseling begins with getting comfortable with being uncomfortable.
